After stunning Lollapalooza over the weekend, Complex cover star FKA twigs debuted a new song to the world today on Zane Lowe's Beats1 show. While FKA has been performing the song titled "Figure 8" at her live shows, Zane premiered the studio version while dubbing the track off her upcoming EP "an absolute banger." There was also a short interview where FKA explained the track was the result of a period in her life following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album where she was finding it "difficult to really keep hold of who you are what you do." Taking refuge in New York, she began to get into vogue and taking dance lessons from legend Derek Prodigy. All hand movements in vogue tie back to the figure eight, which is "the eternal move that never stops moving."
