UPDATED 6/24/16: Things are getting increasingly ugly between Chris Brown and his manager, Mike G. Following reports yesterday that Mike G was suing Chris Brown, Brown immediately clapped back that Mike G was just bitter for being fired after Brown discovered he was stealing money. Brown actually seemed in pretty good spirits over the whole thing and ended his response on a note of positivity. "I'm going to keep pushing. God bless you and I wish you the best of luck."

Mike G has filed a new lawsuit that maintains he has never had access to Brown's' money, according to TMZ. The new legal document also claims that Brown was lying about Mike G being fired since his contract affords him 30 days notice and that he still hasn't received official word. Interestingly enough, Mike G is still listed as Brown's contact on his official website as of now. We'll keep you posted as this one plays out, but you can watch Brown's video response below.

Chris Brown is reportedly being sued by his manager, Mike G, for allegedly beating him up. According to TMZ, things got ugly last month when Mike G said Brown viciously attacked him with repeated punches to the face and neck, which caused him to go to the hospital.

In the lawsuit, Mike G claims Brown was not apologetic for his actions and instead began mocking Mike G on social media and bragging to friends about beating him up. Mike G also contends that Brown told people working on his tour that he would beat them up just like he beat Mike G up if they got out of line. Furthermore, he believes that the attack was fueled by drugs and is worried about even more violence from Brown's "gang member friends."

Mike G was hired by Brown back in 2012 to help get him out of debt, off drugs, and rehabilitate his image after years of scandal and abuse decimated his career. If you remember, it was 2009 when Brown assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna in a car, and ran into legal trouble again in 2013 when he allegedly punched a fan in the face, which ultimately landed him in jail. Brown later admitted in an interview that he turned to drugs as a coping mechanism and had thoughts of suicide.

In 2013, Brown checked himself into rehab for anger management, which seemed to work, as he seemed back on the right track in 2014 when he talked to Hot 97 about getting past the dark period in his life and making up with Rihanna. Since then, Brown has had a checkered career with highs of releasing new music and the birth of his daughter, and lows of making some very harsh comments about Kehlani following her attempted suicide attempt. Early in 2016, allegations that Brown allegedly punched a woman in the face surfaced, but his team adamantly denied that the story was true.

Both Mike G and Brown's team did not immediately respond to Complex's request for comment.
