Iconic Jazz singer Billie Holiday will return to the Apollo Theater as a hologram later this year for a series of performances, according to Pitchfork. The shows will be coordinated by Hologram USA, the same folks behindChief Keef's recent stint as a hologram, and will apparently include a pre-planned question and answer session in addition to some music itself. The hologram performances have been greenlit by the late singer's estate and are part of a larger two-year deal between the Apollo and Hologram USA.

Holiday, who passed away in 1959 at the age of 44, performed at the Apollo nearly 30 times during her life, according to The New York Times.
