It’s only been a month since his last single, “Filth”, but Zino Vinci is already back with a new single, “First Time”, and it’s worlds apart from its predecessor.

Zino has been at the top of everyone’s ones-to-watch lists for some time now and he’s yet to falter. The new single, produced by Mont Jake, showcases just how versatile the East London rapper is, swapping the warm, bassy sounds of the last single for a more sombre, guitar-driven sound with a notably chilling edge.

He’s also dropped off a video for the track, which plays to the downcast energy of both the production and the artist’s wounded vocals. Directed by Luke Annett, we open with a shot of Zino, all cut up and bruised, while an unseen friend patches him up. Moving through the streets as the track progresses, he’s eventually embraced by the open arms of his adoring fans.
