East London-based UD Music and its creative hub Talent House have launched a brand new initiative to nurture the next generation of talent.

Since launching the Talent House with East London Dance in 2022, the whole enterprise has thrived and the next stage in their plans is the Elevator Membership Programme. The new programme comes through the Talent House’s partnership with Sony Music UK made possible by Sony’s UK Social Justice Fund. The aim is to give up to 50 young Black music creatives and start-ups subsidised membership of UD’s Talent House.

UD wants to hear from unsigned artists, producers, musicians, instrumentalists, DJs, podcasters, photographers, videographers, journalists, and graphic designers. Applicants must be London-based and aged 18-25.

Membership of the Talent House offers free access to the £4.1m state-of-the-art facility, which includes fully-equipped recording studios and a co-working space as well as a series of networking, showcasing and training events (including premium access to Industry Takeover events), and one-to-one business support from industry experts over a 12-month period.

Deadline for applications is March 4.

Check the criteria on UD’s website and get your application in now.
