Croydon’s Strandz is back with a new single, “Attention”, the latest track to be heard from his upcoming debut EP, No Time.
Like a lot of his other releases, Strandz handles production himself. Once again, he looks to the 2000s era for inspiration, nodding to the Neptunes-era percussive style to create a sound that should get everyone shaking a leg on the dancefloor.
“‘Attention’ is about bringing the ladies and guys together in the dance, something everyone can sing as one,” Strandz explains. “Lyrically, I try to highlight the emotional miscommunication often seen in couples of this generation, where the guy thinks the girl wants materialistic tokens of love and sacrifices time to afford them when really all she wants is his time.”
