After brushing aside the recent troubles with the Met Police, Skengdo X AM are back in a big way to present their new single "Gun Talk". Given the title, you can't help wonder if it's a tongue-in-cheek reference to the Met's unfair treatment of the duo. Whether it is or isn't, the new banger is a welcome new offering from them both (doubly so, given the charges brought against them) that feels triumphant and vibrant in equal measure. It also sees the pair add an element of trap to their trademark drill sound, pushing them into new territory and giving them the perfect backdrop to deliver what some are describing as some of their best lyrics in years.
