Miami DJ and production duo The Sponges are about to release their new single "Funked Up" (dropping August 23 via Box Of Cats) and they're giving us an early first look. Drawing on a variety of disco samples and breakbeats, the Miami duo have crafted a melting pot of disco, funk, house music, breaks, bass music, turntablism and more. Deftly balancing all those elements, they somehow manage to keep it from feeling too cluttered. Take it in below.
