Just under a year ago, Manchester riser Rowe Wrights released his triumphant debut project Life Is A Game, the culmination of three years of groundwork and a stack of increasingly well-received singles. It’s clear to see he feels a justifiable amount of pride in the project so it’s not too surprising he’s returned to the eight-tracker to give some visuals to the jewel in its crown, “Champion”, which was produced by Gibbo.

Directed and edited by TheApeNinja with creative direction from Saniya Blade, it’s as celebratory and aspirational as the title suggests. Fresh to death in his spotless garms, it’s a showcase in talent, self-confidence, and pride in his own work ethic. It’s also an exercise in finesse as he shows off his credentials as a baller, catching nothing but net with every shot.

If you’ve yet to catch up on the rest of the tape—which also features production from Taylor King, Jaime LaCree, Diamira, Ocean, PilotKid, and Patron—you can get familiar with it below. But before that, hit play on the “Champion” video up top.
