Tomorrow, February 9, London-based producer Ossie, a veteran of labels like Hyperdub and Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse, will release the Unstable EP, his first full release on Skepta and Jammer’s Más Tiempo. Before the full EP lands, he’s lifted the lid on key track, “Un Poquito Mas”.

It’s Ossie’s third appearance on the label, having first featured on “Touch Me” with Jammer and J.Kolo (who also features on “Un Poquito Mas”) and then “Smoke On Your Eyes” with Skepta and Jammer from Más Tiempo Vol. 1.

It’s a broad spread of house jams, touching on tech house and deep house, with a few elements of funky, Afro-house and more. With “Un Poquito Mas”, however, Ossie leans into some Latin influences for more rhythmic energy.

Speaking on his future with the label, Ossie shares: “The journey so far has been crazy! From Skep and Jam playing my releases at Beams, to playing at Drumsheds, and now having an EP on the label. A lot has happened in the last twelve months.

“Skep and Jam have big plans and continuously move with intention. If they want to achieve something, they make it happen. I’ve learned from that. Hopefully, it shows in my graft and with what’s to come from Más Tiempo, because when you have a love of house music like we do, it needs to be shared.”
