Spanish producer Manu Dia is getting ready for the release of his debut EP, Surface, which was signed by TOKiMONSTA for her Young Art Records. Ahead of the EP's release tomorrow (June 14), we've got the latest extract, "Stranger", and it's the perfect single to lead up to the release. Slow-burning to begin with, "Stranger" quickly gathers pace as each new element is introduced, galloping forward until the track's apex when it erupts into an uplifting, shamelessly joyous and slightly off kilter crescendo.

Speaking with Complex via email, Manu Dia says the new track "represents the start of a journey through sound and the ever-evolving, ever-changing flow of life."

On the subject of the EP, he added: "There comes a point in each of our lives when we face a choice and must point ourselves towards an end goal or destination — whatever it may be. Surface is a reflection of this journey with every piece within acting as a stepping stone on the path."
