Melbourne producer Life Is Better Blonde is about ready to drop his new single "My God Is Not Going To Like You" and he's called on filmmaker John Maloney to direct the mysterious and somewhat sinister visuals. Calling to mind The Crucible and The Wicker Man, the black-and-white shot visuals for "My God Is Not Going To Like You" follow a voodoo ritual taking place in a dark forest with a priest and his disciples. The track itself is a blissful piece of songwriting, pairing sweeping electronics and L.I.B.B's delicate, soulful voice. Mixed and mastered by Grammy-nominated Andrei Eremin and will feature on the former's upcoming, as-yet-untitled EP, which is due this summer.
Speaking with Complex via email, Life Is Better Blonde told us: "This is about appeasing other people's gods, the futility, the meaninglessness of twitter wars."
