Born and raised in Watford, Georgia Lowe aka Glowe is an emerging singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who, after a big 2019, has set her sights on an even bigger 2020.
Last year, Glowe released her debut single, "Realise", along with four subsequent singles, racking up hundreds of thousands of streams in the process. With such a strong year under her belt, she's now gearing up for the release of her debut EP, Daughter, and to get the ball rolling she's sharing its first single, "Overwhelmed". Living up to its title, the record begins with organic textures and gentle percussion on the verses before giving way to a crash of pulsing, robotic synths just as the words I'm overwhelmed pass her lips. Making full use of the impactful electronics and earworm hook, if "Overwhelmed" is anything to go by then the EP could well surpass the considerable success of last year's singles.
The Daughter EP lands on May 15, and you can catch Glowe live at the Notting Hill Arts Club for the EP launch on July 17.
