East London producer FNP, started life making D&B as Elabor8, getting props from the likes of S.P.Y., Newham Generals and more. Later, the tempo started to slow as he shifted the focus from beats to melodies. Switching his alias to FNP (Fake Name Preferably), he set up Slinkiemusic and quickly started making a name for himself with futuristic, forward-facing electronic pop. This year, the rising producer in a new guise is kicking off a series of collabs with "Till We're Old", a warped piece of pop that shifts and pulses like mercury beneath German singer Levina's entrancing vocals. With more collaborations still to come, the progression in FNP's productions suggests we've got some very good music coming our way.
