Beautiful, weird, trippy, surreal and amazing are all words you could use to describe this video.

This is the video for "Dear Life", the new single byClaptone. Despite the eerie surrealism of the visuals, the track itself is a relatively upbeat affair, combining snappy electro indie sensibilities with sweet, uplifting vocals from French singer, JAW. And, once you get into it, the eeriness slips away, replaced by more endearing images of young love and childhood innocence. Further on, the video explores the wider themes of life and death and our young protagonist's struggle to deal with them both, ultimately leading to a heart-warming resolution. That said, there's still a pretty heart-wrenching scene where she bids her final farewell to an elderly, dying relative that would turn even the most cynical person to a blubbering mess. "Dear Life" is the first single from Claptone's debut album, which will be released later this year.
