Trekkie Trax associate Carpainter has, for a while, being putting his own high energy stamp on the Chicago footwork sound for a few years now. Over that time his sound has evolved and expanded to incorporate a wider palette of club styles like choppy Jersey rhythms and various shades of bass music. For his latest outing, "Changeling Life" he's diverged even further from that early sound and delved headlong into a much more classic rave sound.
