Since debuting in 2016 with his seven-track debut project, The H3rb Connoisseur, Blvk H3ro has spent the subsequent years committing to an increasingly prolific output. In doing so, he’s built himself a rep for his dancehall/Afrobeats hybrids and on his latest, a remix of his recent single, “Annabella”, that sees him connect with Kojo Funds.
The original version was produced by Zimbabwean talent Soko7—famed for his contributions to Beyoncé's chart-topping sensation "Drunk In Love", no less—and featured fellow Jamaican Dre Island. For this new version, which retains the warming guitar licks of the original, Kojo steps in to give the smooth and seductive track even more dancefloor potential.
This is the latest in a quickfire series of singles we’ve had from Blvk H3ro in the past couple of months—including “Celebration”, “It Nuh Easy”, and “Good Body”—drawing us ever closer to the Grammy-nominated star’s upcoming album, On A Mission, which is due to arrive August 18 via Delicious Vinyl Island.
