Last week former Haute producer Blasé dropped his new project Spin The Globe, a 10-track opus with a mission to spotlight on two cities with long and proud rap credentials: Atlanta and Paris. The new project is the first chapter in an ongoing series designed to bring together French rappers and their counterparts from around the world.

From Atlanta we have Bstakk, Squido, WC KIL, Doobie Rockstar, Sheen Frost, NGeeYL and Eli Band$; and from his home country, Ayodele, Le Lij and Jwles. Each track on Spin The Globe features a French and Atlanta lyricist with each beat coming solely from Blasé except for an assist on the last track from EZ Beats.

Today, Blasé's dropped the project's first visual, a track called "Cobra" with French artist Le Lij and ATL's WC KIL. Directed by Dylan Schaub, the video follows the trio of artists first in a betting shop, then a petrol station, cutting loose and showing us exactly the kind of lyrical excellence both sides of the Atlantic are capable of.

Spin The Globe is out now and with the release came a mission statement: "Connect artists across cultures. Archive creative moments. Repeat."
