We are officially in Nines season.
After dropping his long-awaited and long-overdue Crop Circle 2 last week, Nines has just dropped off the video for its latest single, “Different League” with Nafe Smallz and Clavish, along with the official Crop Circle 2 short film (his third to date) which features artists such as Knucks, Miraa May and Litty Lightz, and popular content creators like Hemah, Lippy and Darnell Vlogs.
Rather than go down the route of BTS footage behind the album, Crop Circle 2 – A Film By Nines reimagines a gangland flick, starring the Church Road icon, soundtracked exclusively by excerpts from the album. Written by, directed by, and starring the man himself (with one or two cameos to look out for), it’s a respectable calling card if he ever wanted to pursue film-making full-time.
As for the “Different League” video, that was directed by Don Prod and follows Nines along with his good pal Crop Cat as they hit a crowded party at Nines’ ‘Thug Mansion’. With Clavish and Nafe Smallz in tow, they get the drinks flowing and connect with a few familiar faces, including Fredo and a few others for you to look out for.
