It’s been just over four years since MoStack released his first full-length project, and now he’s just dropped off its sequel: High Street Kid 2.

As beloved as 2019’s Stacko was by fans, many are already hailing this new one as a return to the run of quality he enjoyed the year the first edition landed. Mist, who featured on “Screw & Brew” last time round, makes a big return, joining MoStack for the project highlight, “Frankenstein”. Not surprisingly, the track’s been given the visual treatment thanks to Kaylum Dennis, who plays up to the track’s title with a horror film-style visual, splashing the two rhymers in fake blood as they ham it up for the camera.

As for the rest of the features, it’s kept pretty lowkey with just Aitch, Phoenix Laoutaris, JustPapers and J Tehng contributing. Rxwntree handles the bulk of the production with familiar beatsmiths Swifta Beater, Steel Banglez and TSB stepping in alongside LOTUS JXJO, Rocky, DLK, Benjamin Miller, JoceWavy, Jester Beats, and Mondo.

Speaking about High Street Kid 2, MoStack said: “Since I released the [first] tape, people have been asking for the follow-up. They’ve been saying, ‘We want to hear that old MoStack. We want to hear High Street Kid. Do High Street Kid 2.’ So it only feels right that I release the follow-up to the fans—they’re the ones who got me here.”
