After the success of the “Activated” remix with Logan, Roachee and Snowy, and “Man Know” with P Money and Capo Lee, Manga Saint Hilare’s back with another team-up on his new single “OWT”. This time, he’s focusing purely on the new gen, calling on Tia Talks, Renz, Squintz, and Duppy to help heat up the new banger.
Reaching across the generations, it’s a lethal combination of Manga’s hard-earned experience and the fire and hunger from the new generation of grime. Couple that with the spartan bounce of Lewi B’s instrumental and you can’t help but be reminded of the wild creativity of Channel U-era grime.
Speaking of which, the visuals from Adam Horton have a similar echo (albeit with much more polish). Shot in black and white, save for the occasional flash of animated colour, each MC takes their turn bouncing around the set, squaring up to the camera with exactly the kind of boldness that would’ve made it a guaranteed hit on the legendary channel.
