Save for an appearance on HAZEY’s “Packs & Potions” remix alongside Digga D and Unknown T, it’s been relatively quiet in M1llionz’s camp since he dropped his debut mixtape, Provisional Licence. Today, however, the Birmingham driller breaks his silence with new single “NGL”.
A hard and heavy UK drill stomper, “NGL” takes everything that made last year’s Provisional Licence so effective and pushes it right to the front. Pyrex Kenny’s instrumental is as tough as they come and M1llionz sounds more powerful than ever on the mic, firing off light-footed bars about separating truth from fiction on the roads and the value of having that instinct.
For the video, M1llionz connected with director Chauffeur to film what is essentially a victory lap of the ends. Stepping out from the comfort of his expensive whip, he’s greeted with a hero’s welcome as the whole block comes out to pop some bottles and shake a leg to his new anthem.
