Back with his first solo joint since 2022 opus, Alpha Place, Knucks returns with the video for “Nkita”, a wild and energetic joint that features a guest spot from rising talent Fimiguerrero and production from Kare.
Pronounced [n-kí-tá], the title translates to "dog" in the Nigerian dialect Igbo and is used as an insult meaning “wild animal”. Reclaiming the phrase and flipping it into a positive, Knucks uses it as a means of tapping into his wild and reckless side.
Speaking on the single, Knucks says "Nkita" means dog in Igbo, my native language, and is generally used as an insult like “wild animal”. This song represents embracing that wild side and owning that title as someone who can be composed and put together but also has that wild savage side."
