Knucks has got a big few months ahead of him.

With debut EU and US tours filling much of the rest of his year, the South Kilburn rapper has just released the video for a new collaboration with Bay Area rhymer Larry June and super-producer Kenny Beats titled “I Suppose”.

Larry has spent a lot of time in the UK this year, connecting with local talents and championing our homegrown rap scene while supporting his latest album, The Great Escape. Larry and The Alchemist’s meeting with Nines was the big story at the time but, as it turns out, it wasn’t the only transatlantic collaboration the San Francisco native worked on.

Sharing a similarly cool-headed delivery style and relaxed confidence, the two make for a natural pairing—something those of us lucky enough to catch Knucks’ appearance at Larry’s intimate Omeara show can attest to. Kenny Beats is the perfect producer to unite them, having worked with artists on both sides of the Atlantic and a deep appreciation for both UK and US rap.

Naturally, the new track comes with a video and they’ve drafted Dir. Lx to do the honours. Dipping between LA and London, mixing palm trees and concrete stairwells, it’s the perfect juxtaposition of their two worlds, but it does find one thing they have in common: a love of incredibly expensive whips.

Peep the visuals for “I Suppose” above and be sure to add the song to your playlists when it’s officially released on DSPs tomorrow (Sept. 1).
