Two weeks ago, J Hus finally returned to us, making good on the promises set by some mysterious online and IRL clues with “It’s Crazy”, one of his darkest and heaviest tunes to date. It was well-received pretty much across the board, but a few fans out there wished he’d put out something more akin to the Afroswing sound he’s so adept at.

Today, Juju J returns with another new single—having also confirmed that a new album was on the way—and it’s hard to imagine anyone will be disappointed with this one: “Who Told You” just hit streaming services and not only is it a summer bubbler, it’s also a long-overdue collaboration with Drake.

The Stratford spitter gave us the first taste of “Who Told You” yesterday when he posted a snippet of it on Instagram with the caption, “Who told u bad man don’t dance? Who told u gangsters don’t dance?…Summer is Already Mine”. Not long after that, Drizzy posted the audio clip, but only of Hus’ part, on his own IG stories with the caption “@theuglygram trouble is there tmrw.”

Produced by P2J (Beyoncé, Wizkid), the new joint channels “One Dance”-era Drake with chart-conquering, summer-ready, Afroswing Hus. Guaranteed to be a floor-filler in the coming days, weeks, months, there’s unlikely to be any escape from this one—and why would you want to? With any luck, we might even get a video too.

While we wait to hear more on J Hus’ new album, check out “Who Told You” and be sure to add the song to your playlists.
