North London drill star Headie One has just dropped a massively ambitious new project called No Borders: European Compilation Project. The set has been ruminating for some time now, gradually taking shape as he made his way across the continent, building relationships, investigating all the different scenes, and getting a feel for their respective takes on drill.

We got our first taste of the project back in May when Headie released “Gazo”, although a project wasn’t announced at the time. Since then, we’ve had a steady stream of drops from the comp—including “Cloud” with Germany’s Luciano, “Bigger Than Life” with the Netherlands’ Frenna, and “Link In The Ends” with France’s Koba LaD—all building up to the official announcement that these European collabs would all be collected together for this new mixtape.

Also on the extensive list of featured artists are Pajel and KALIM from Germany, Shiva from Italy, Chivv from the Netherlands, Hamza from Belgium, Yasin from Sweden, and French R&B singer Nej. There’s also a cameo from Headie’s OFB teammate, Dezzie, who steps in alongside Pajel on “Place”.
