Announced back in April, Sharky Major’s Grime Originals outfit has just released Grime Originals: The Album, Vol. 1, the debut compilation that wraps up the first phase in the G.O plans.

Between their roadblock events and the healthy stack of releases under the Grime Originals umbrella, Sharky’s built an impressive network of grime scene titans. Bridging a few different eras, the tracklist includes Swarvo, Chronik, Roachee, Footsie, Discarda, Devlin, Nasty Jack, Jammer, So Large, J2K, President T, Manga Saint Hilare, Bruza, Maxwell D, Capo Lee, Lil Narstie, Lioness, Big Narstie, LV General, Logan, Flirta D, Riko Dan, PK, Taliifah, Jammz and Maxsta.

The production credits are just as stacked, with beats coming from DExplicit, Rapid, Lewi White, Sir Spyro, Rude Kid, Silencer, Biggaman, ZimZimma, DOK, Lewi B and Jammz.

What phase two of the Grime Originals plan has in store remains to be seen, but since we’ve already had visuals for a couple of tracks from the comp—namely, Jammer, So Large and Nasty Jack’s “Ease”; Tinchy Stryder and President T’s “Have A Go”; and Sharky, Big Narstie, Rippz and LV General’s “Baddest”—a couple more visuals wouldn’t go amiss.
