With their own solo adventures taking them all around the world, it’s an increasingly rare sight to see Giggs and Tiny Boost back on a track together—but it’s always a welcome one. Taking the time to get back to what counts, the Peckham duo recently got together in the studio for new joint “The Family” and now it’s got some visuals.
Produced by Louis Aura, the new collab strips everything right back to the core essentials. Aura’s production is sparse and eerie, using just a few carefully-selected elements to set the scene. With all that space laid out for them on the instrumental, Giggs and Boost deliver slow-and-low, unhurried rhymes that celebrate their prowess and their status in the game.
For the visuals, they’ve kept it gritty and to the point. With The Hood Projects directing, the SN1 pair head down to the docks with the team. As the crew assembles at ground level, ramping the energy up to fever pitch, Giggs and Tiny Boost keep a watchful eye from the top,
For now, it looks like this one’s a standalone drop, but hopefully—if we’re lucky—it won’t be too long before the pair reconnect in the booth again.
