Three years after Conflict Of Interest, East London grime and rap legend Ghetts is back with On Purpose, With Purpose, his fourth studio album,

G-H has been leading us to the album since late last year when he gave us “Laps” with his “Mozambique” collaborator, Moonchild Sanelly. “Twin Sisters” with Skrapz and “Tumbi” followed either side of the New Year. The final pre-release teaser came at the MOBOs this year when Clarke silenced the room with a performance of the latest single, “Double Standards”, a stunning treatise on the state of British society with Sampha on vocals.

Like its predecessor, On Purpose, With Purpose continues this more experimental Ghetts, taking in even more sounds like soul, R&B, Afrobeats, Amapiano and gospel.

Joining Sampha, Skrapz and Moonchild Sanelly on the album is Kano, Wretch 32, Unknown T, Shakka, Dexta Daps, Tiggs Da Author, Muzi, Harry Aye, Jay Angelo, and Pip Millett. Production-wise, Ten Billion Dreams returns to handle the bulk of the instrumentals, and he’s joined by Emil, R-Kay, Jay Angelo, Kadz, TEE, Reiss Nicholas, Splurge Boys, TJ 2 Percent and Etienne Lutanki.
