Fredo Returns With Fire In His Belly On New Drop “I’m Back”

It’s been a long, cold year for Fredo fans. He’s been active in other ways, but the last time we heard him on wax was his Independence Day project—and that was August last year.

Today, however, he returns with the fittingly titled “I’m Back”. Backed up by CDS and Handz Beatz on production, he splits the track into two halves, opening with some high-level boasts about the cash he’s stacked and the glory he’s earned. Then, at the halfway point, the second, darker beat kicks in and he switches lanes for something a little less glamorous as he speaks on his “crazy mates that can’t wait to change the plates”.

For the visuals, Fredo called on the talents of Myles Suave. Keeping it unfussy and to the point, he sets a suited-up Fredo against a crisp, light grey background for a one-shot performance of his new rhymes.
