Late last year, dancer turned rapper turned TikTok megastar Dreya Mac teamed up with Felixthe1st for the “Own Brand Freestyle” and didn’t take long for the track to absolutely dominate TikTok. Nearly three months later and it’s still doing insane numbers on the platform, spawning over six million new videos.
That’s unlikely to slow down any time soon because the pair have recently re-recorded the track and given the slightly updated version a new official video (following an impromptu visualiser when the freestyle first dropped in October). The new version puts Dreya and Felix in grand mansion setting with the former reminding us of her talents as a dancer with some moves choreographed by Ysabelle Capitulé, while the latter is found in the basement, bringing a somewhat darker energy.
