Earlier this month, Digga D and his team took off for a sun-soaked lads holiday for the “DTF” video and it looks like the celebrations are going to continue well into July. A trip to Paris and an appearance at Glastonbury followed and today he celebrates his 23rd birthday with his new single, “I’m From”, a track he previewed some time ago on TikTok.
It’s a little darker in tone than some of his recent drops, with talk of undercover police sniffing round his home and street politics, but he’s hardly glamourising and his relief that it’s all behind him is palpable.
The same goes for the video, which was pieced together by director Don Prod. Moving from trips round the block to a plush private jet and a marble and gold-adorned bathroom, it throws into sharp relief just how dramatically his life has changed in the past few years.
