HW&W Recordings has proven themselves to be quite the talent incubator. Just off the top, they've produced Kaytranada and Ta-ku–two artists who in their own right have reached a new level of success that their contemporaries can only dream of. Pomo is another HW&W artist who might soon rise through those ranks. Today, via HW&W Recordings, Pomo has released his debut EP, The Other Day. The eight-track release features collaborations with his aforementioned HW&W labelmate Kaytranada and Andrea Cormier and the result is a finely curated selection of shimmering disco-inflected straight groove bass music. Touches of house, touches of electro, and a touch of that future flavor make this one tasty release. For Pomo, this is quite a debut and only confirms our hopes of his growing talents and we'll have this on repeat through the winter months.
