There’s a lot of new music to get into this week. Rod Wave and Lil Durk teamed up for their latest collaboration, “Already Won.” Dvsn and Ty Dolla Sign released their joint album Cheers to the Best Memories, featuring the standout single “Memories.” And Young Thug is gunning for another TikTok challenge with his new single, which is appropriately titled, “Tick Tock.” This week’s best music also includes songs from Kevin Abstract, Lorde, James Blakes, Sheff G, and more.

“Tick Tock” is a playful track that seems headed straight for a new dance challenge on TikTok. On the track, Thug raps about women, coming from the trenches, and his wealth. The chorus is especially catchy as he raps, “Tick tock, tick tock, ten shots to your side like tick tock/ When I bow down to my bitch, it come with a big rock.” “Tick Tock” is assumed to be the first single from Thug’s upcoming album PUNK.

Kevin Abstract is back with “Sierra Nights,” a dreamy record where he raps with distorted vocals over glitchy production. On the track, Kevin Abstract raps about his humble beginnings, while Ryan Beatty provides a dose of melody as he sings about a secret love affair. “You know I’ll wait another day/ Long as I hear you finally say/ It was just a shot in the dark/ It was only half of your hеart,” Beatty sings. “Sierra Nights” is expected to appear on Kevin Abstract’s next solo album.

“Mood Ring” is an upbeat pop track that sarcastically touches on the methods people use to stay mentally and spiritually connected. On the track, Lorde appears to be on a quest to shift her own bad mood. “I’m tryna get well from the inside/ Plants and celebrity news, all the vitamins I consume/ Let’s fly somewherе eastern, they’ll havе what I need (They’ll have what I need),” she sings. “Mood Ring” arrived shortly before the official release of her new album Solar Power

“Already Won” is a sentimental track that unites Rod Wave with Lil Durk. On the track, Rod reminisces about his come-up, singing, “Sister called me, said she heard me on the radio, uh/ Auntie called me, say she saw me on the TV screen/ She’s proud of me and happy that I’m chasing dreams.” Lil Durk also reflects on how far he’s come while touching on his relationships. Rod Wave and Durk’s new collaboration appears on the deluxe edition of Rod’s SoulFly.

Daniel Daley also hops on the track, singing, “Your body talkin’ to me and I listen (Oh)/ Go tell your friends why you be missin’.” “Memories” appears on Ty Dolla Sign and Dvsn’s joint album Cheers to the Best Memories

Justin Bieber and Don Toliver teamed up with Skrillex on their new collab, “Don’t Go,” a poppy track with a high-energy beat. On the track, Bieber sings about missing his one love: “I woke up in the city, I ain’t seen your face/ Almost lost my mind, medication.” Don Toliver also lends his vocals to the track, as he pleads for his girl to stick by his side. “Don’t Go” is a single that’s expected to appear on Skrillex’s next project.
