On “What That Speed Bout,” Mike Will Made-It connects with YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Nicki Minaj. YoungBoy switches things up, skating over a hype club beat as he raps about coming from the trenches and indulging in late-night activities. Nicki Minaj brings the attitude, laying down gritty bars that and finding room to take shots at her ex-boyfriends. “Got every ex nigga mad and they big bitter/ Diamonds on the chain, blingin’ off my tits,” she spits. The track is expected to appear on an upcoming Mike Will album.

2 Chainz f/ Mulatto, “Quarantine Thick”

Two generations of Atlanta rappers have connected. On “Quarantine Thick,” 2 Chainz comes out the gate with a punchy and braggadocious verse, rapping, “Several watches later, I still rock a Rollie/ I’m prayin’ for the dead, I’m prayin’ for my homies/ I sleep by a scale and everybody know it.” Mulatto matches his energy, rapping about her body and ability to snag any man of her choosing. The beat may be simple, but “Quarantine Thick” already sounds like a great workout record.

42 Dugg, “Free Woo”

One of this year’s breakout stars is back with a new hit. “Free Woo” is a dizzying record that gives 42 Dugg room to brag about his luxurious possessions. He also raps about loyalty and a friend who is currently locked up. “Hold me down, never know what tomorrow brings/ Help me out, if I eat, we all eat,” he raps. “Free Woo” is 42 Dugg’s sixth single of the year, and each release has showed that the newcomer is the one to watch.

Frequent collaborators NAV and Gunna have connected on a new track called “Young Wheezy,” in which the duo show love to Atlanta producer Wheezy, who also laid down the beat for the record. Gunna raps about linking with Travis Scott, poppin' Percs, and empty threats from outsiders, while NAV gears his focus toward women and his many affiliations. “Come between me and my blues and get handled,” NAV warns. “Young Wheezy” appears on NAV and Wheezy’s new mixtape, Emergency Tsunami

24KGoldn & Iann Dior f/ Justin Bieber & J Balvin, “Mood Remix”

After climbing the charts with the original version of “Mood,” 24KGoldn and Iann Dior are looking to make an even bigger splash with the remix. On the newest version, the duo connect with global forces Justin Bieber and J Balvin. Bieber does what he does best, singing to a love interest with sweet and sultry vocals. “You’ve been in a mood, you’ve been giving attitude/ What I gotta do to get through to ya?” he sings. Then, J Balvin comes in on the third verse with Spanish lyrics and velvety vocals. It looks like this song is about to become even more successful than it already was.

“NTWFL” is a hypnotic record with booming bass that finds Sam Dew reaching out to a distant lover. “Are you still up?/ No pressure/ Few nights with you and I let my mind replay,” the Chicago singer croons. The jumpy beat draws listeners in, but it’s Dew’s seductive singing that keeps us wanting more. “NTWFL,” which is produced by Sounwave and DJ Dahi, is slated to appear on Sam Dew’s forthcoming album, MOONLIT FOOLS, which is expected to arrive in 2021.
