Las Vegas homicide detectives are investigating the death of B.B. King, the AP reports. The legendary blues musician's daughters Karen Williams and Patty King believe their father was poisoned by his business manager, LaVerne Toney, and his personal assistant, Myron Johnson. They've also accused the two of preventing King's family members from visiting him in his final days.
"I believe my father was poisoned and that he was administered foreign substances," they both said in affidavits. "I believe my father was murdered."
Patty King has previously accused Toney of elder abuse and said she'd refused to have King hospitalized when his health was declining.
Police have declined to comment further on the investigation, and autopsy reports are due back in eight weeks.
