T.I. has long been on the front lines in the fight for equality, which he continued to advocate for during a panel at this weekend's Revolt Summit. While fielding topics with conservative thinker (and Kanye West whispererCandace Owens, the rapper and Owens got into a spirited debate over her support for Trump.

During the panel, the conversation transitioned to Trump's controversial slogan "Make America Great Again," which some of Trump's opponents deem racist.

"That was Ronald Reagan's slogan. Was it racist when Ronald Reagan had it?" Owens asked the crowd, which answered with a resounding "Yes." Tip then asked Owens what era of America does Trump want the country to revert back to.

"Please answer this," T.I. asked Owens. "When you say ‘Make America Great Again,’ which period are we talking about? The period when women couldn’t vote, the period when we were hanging from trees, or the crack era? Which period in America are you trying to make America like again?"

Owens then tried to evade the question by making up a false fact about America being one of the first countries to free their slaves. In reality, America was one of the last Western powers to end chattel slavery

"Because you're making light of the enslavement of people that look like us," T.I. said when Owens asked why the crowd was booing her. "That ain't nothing you breeze over."

Along with Tip and Owens, Killer Mike, Trump advisor Katrina Pierson, and more were on the panel. The Revolt summit in Atlanta ends on Sunday. The next summit will be held in Los Angeles on the weekend of Oct. 24.
