The Weeknd Shares Video for New Single "Take My Breath"

The Weeknd has dropped off the music video for his new single "Take My Breath." The track was previously used in a promo for this year’s Olympic games.

The Weeknd has made his return with the release of his latest single, Take My Breath.

The Weeknd dropped the song and its accompanying music video on Friday, which you can check out up top. The video was directed by Cliqua, and was produced by Roisín Audrey Moloney with production company Somesuch.

There has been a lot of hype surrounding the record since a portion of “Take My Breath” was used to promote this year’s Olympic games with an ad that featured Sydney McLaughlin, Dalilah Muhammad, Athing Mu, and Gabby Thomas of Team USA.


“Take My Breath” acts as the official introduction to The Weeknd’s post-After Hours era. 

He helped roll out the track with a new episode of his Memento Mori Apple Music radio show and also did an interview with GQ

The Weeknd also previously shared a video teaser titled “The Dawn is Coming.”
