Nas Shares Release Date, Trailer, and Tracklist for 'The Lost Tapes 2'

God's Son has returned.

On Tuesday, Nas and Mass Appeal premiered a trailer announcing that the rapper's The Lost Tapes 2 is set to drop on July 19. Also, the video uploaded to Mass Appeal's YouTube channel disclosed the project's tracklist and features. 

This project will be the sequel to Nas' 2002 album The Lost Tapes. Like the first installment, The Lost Tapes 2 will feature tracks that didn't make the final cut for some of Nas' studio albums. This project will pull from Hip-Hop Is Dead (2006), Untitled (2008), Life is Good (2012), and 2018's Kanye West-produced album Nasir. 

Nas has teased the release of The Lost Tapes 2 for some time. He hinted at its release when announcing his upcoming tour with Mary J. Blige and even took to Instagram last month tease its arrival.

The Lost Tapes II comes at a time when Nas will be hitting the road for their first co-headlining tour. The dates are listed here.
