For a moment last night, it felt like the world had stopped spinning. That may sound hyperbolic, but Lil Wayne is arguably the most popular rapper on the planet and TMZ had reported that he was being read his last rites, a.k.a. about to die, after suffering a seizure.
Love him or hate him, there's almost no one who wasn't moved by the news of Weezy on his deathbed. Of course, Twitter was sent into a frenzy, and everybody—celebrities, journalists, fans—had something to say.

7:50 p.m. - TMZ breaks the story that Lil Wayne is in critical condition after suffering more seizures. For a moment, they report that he's being read his last rites and that family members are saying their goodbyes.
8:19 p.m. - Mack Maine denies, says Wayne is watching basketball.
8:25 p.m. - Mac Miller is one of the first of Wayne's peers to show support.
8:26 p.m. - Rick Ross does the same a minute later.
8:33 p.m. - YMCMB boss Birdman gives an update.
8:40 p.m. - TMZ says that Wayne's mother is on a flight to L.A. to be with him in the hospital.
