Toronto rapper KILLY paired up with a couple of Canadian heavyweights for the track and video for "Same Energy."
The track was produced by Boi-1da, SMPLGTWY, Yogi the Producer, Andro, darko, with additional production by Adrian Bellaire, Amir Jamm. The visual was directed by The.97, who's worked with everyone from Nav to The Weeknd.
"We've had a bunch of photo shoots before, but this is our first video," KILLY said of working with The.97. "He's about going until we get the perfect result, and that's the way I work too."
KILLY says "the song is a sonic representation of the energy I have been, and will continue to maintain." The song represents pushing his artistry to new heights.
"Same Energy" is the lead single for KILLY's upcoming project.
