The Weeknd likes to work in threes, and based on a new Instagram post, there's a third album coming in the After Hours/Dawn FM trilogy.

"3" he posted in the caption, with the two album covers for After Hours and Dawn FM, followed by a photo with just a question mark.

His longtime collaborator Mike Dean then jumped in the comments with "????????!!!!!!!!!!!" The pair posted pics from the studio last year.

Yesterday, Dawn FM turned two years old. The Weeknd spent most of last year touring his two most recent albums, when he wasn't dealing with the backlash of the now cancelled HBO show The Idol.

In 2023, he was named VEVO's most viewed male artist globally for a third year in a row with over 2.5 billion views.

Of course, this isn't The Weeknd's first foray into trilogies. His career started with three mixtapes: House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence. They were eventually released as one in the compilation called Trilogy.
