The Snotty Nose Rez Kids may have their issues like every one else, but on upbeat new single “I’m Good,” the Haisla Nation duo from Vancouver is happy to let their troubles slide.
The line “This ain’t David vs. Goliath, it’s Kenny versus Spenny” basically sums it all up: things may seem insurmountable at first, but if you’ve got the right perspective and focus on the positive, every hand will look like a royal flush. (Although comedy pair Kenny versus Spenny did occasionally find themselves in terrible messes of their own creation.)
SNRK are on the shortlist for the upcoming 2022 Polaris Music Prize for their album Life After, and they’ll perform at the Gala at The Carlu in Toronto on Sept. 19.
