Arcade Fire European tour opener Feist announced today she will no longer perform on their upcoming dates following sexual misconduct allegations against Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler.

“This has ignited a conversation that is bigger than me,” the Canadian singer-songwriter said in a statement on her social media accounts.

“I can’t solve that by quitting, and I can’t solve it by staying. But I can’t continue.”

The full statement can be read here:

Feist opened for Arcade Fire Aug. 30-31 in Dublin and was scheduled to open for them on their European tour.

As first reported by Pitchfork, three women alleged Butler had sexual interactions with them that were considered inappropriate, while a fourth individual alleged Butler assaulted them twice in 2015 when they were 21. Butler responded that they were “consensual” relationships.

Arcade Fire began their European tour despite calls to cancel the dates. The band is also set to tour North America starting in October.
