G.O.O.D. Music Affiliate Malik Yusef Suggests Kanye West Will Address Trump Comments on Friday

"We will be addressing any and all concerns about this recent set of events through the lens of selfhood on this Friday."

Kanye West has been both very loud and extremely quiet this week.

While he's stirred up all kinds of controversy for his Twitter endorsement of ultra-conservative political commentator Candace Owens and telling Ebro Darden that he "loves Donald Trump," we haven't actually heard Kanye talk or attempt to clear things up (outside of a couple bizarre sentences about his love for Ebro in a call to Hot 97 on Tuesday morning).

According to G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Malik Yusef, that might change on Friday.

Yusef first tweeted an update on Tuesday that he had spoken to Kanye on the phone and said he was in good spirits.

Twitter user Kanyeberly replied to his tweet by saying what many of us are thinking: "Tell him he needs to get on here and address this pro Trump shit so I can get my fucking blood pressure together."

In response, Yusef suggested that Kanye will address "any and all concerns about this recent set of events thru the lens of selfhood" on Friday.

Malik Yusef didn't clarify exactly how these concerns will be addressed, though. There's a chance it will be through another round of tweets from Kanye, or maybe he'll sit down for a full interview with someone. Of course, some Kanye fans are getting their hopes up that this week could mark the return of G.O.O.D. Fridays and he'll address the concerns through new music.

However, it will be interesting to see what Yusef means by "through the lens of selfhood." I guess we'll find out on Friday.
