XO Signee, Black Atlass, Shares New Video for "My Life"

The Weeknd recruits another enigmatic R&B singer.

The Weeknd is growing his XO crew yet again. Just a few months ago, the R&B superstar signed rap duo 88 Glam, who delivered a self-titled project full of certified bops like "Bali" and "Big Tymers". Now, the label boss and his creative partner Cash are hoping to keep up the momentum by recruiting another rising talent.

This time it's Montreal singer, Black Atlass, who was officially introduced as an XO artist last Friday. The enigmatic crooner, whose real name is Alex Fleming, has been around for a number of years now and is already a familiar face to diehard XO fans. Along with a string of dope original tracks, Atlass has also made waves thanks to a prominent appearance in The Weeknd's video for "Secrets".

To celebrate the new signing, Black Atlass dropped his first material on the label, and it stays very true to the XO brand. Entitled, "My Life", the fresh single is packed with smoky vocals, spacey drums, and smooth keys. The song also gets a fitting visual treatment that sees Fleming brooding about in an empty theatre and facing an unnamed love interest. You can watch the clip below via YouTube.
