Ahead of her Toronto show next month, Montreal’s queen of electropop, KROY, is blessing us with a brand new music video for “Monstrosity”. The beautifully eerie track, which comes off of last year’s fantastic project ‘Scavenger’, gets an equally mesmerizing and unsettling visual from director, Baz Morais. Sitting in at three-and-a-half minutes long, the video features Camille Poliquin herself glitching in front of a motionless camera. It’s a simple and entrancing piece that beckons viewers to focus in on KROY’s subtle, yet telling movements.

“Monstrosity” arrives via indie label Dare to Care Records, which is also home to Kandle, Chocolat, and singer-songwriter, Cœur de Pirate. If you happen to be in Toronto on September 7, you can catch KROY performing at Smiling Buddha alongside other special guests. In the meantime, you can watch the video for “Monstrosity” above via YouTube, and be sure to check out KROY on Spotify and Apple Music.
