Police have arrested two men in relation to an alleged plot to murder members of OneFour: J Emz, Spenny, YP and Celly.

26-year-old Brandon Masueli and 20-year-old Yousef Rima are both expected to be charged with a range of offences, including conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to kidnap and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

It's believed that the two men are not the masterminds behind the plot, but rather intended to carry out the attack for financial reward. The ABC reported that the plans were uncovered as part of an investigation into a Lebanese international crime syndicate.

Police are currently looking into a number of different motives behind the plot. Detective Superintendent Faux said it's highly likely that there's a conflict between the organised crime group and the intended victims.

Police have also sought an arrest warrant for a 22-year-old man in connection with the plot who is believed to be overseas.

More to come.
