Watch Nardwuar and Jazzy Interview Each Other in Awesome Crossover

Nardwuar and Jazzy had a crossover episode for the books.

The 12-year-old journalist and host of Jazzy’s World TV met up with Nardwuar at Neptoon Records in his hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia where the pair interviewed each other. They chatted about everything from Nardwuar’s trademark outfit to the inspiration behind his career, and Jazzy’s beginnings in Panama, as well as her interview with Jay-Z, mental health awareness, and more.

Jazzy came to the interview dressed as Nardwuar, in a Tartan golf hat and matching pants. When she asked him why he wears a Tartan hat, Nardwuar told Jazzy around the 2:50 minute mark that Sebastian Bach from the heavy metal band Skid Row “stole” his skull cap. So he had to wear the Tartan hat, which was a gift from his mom in 1990 from Scotland. His friend then got him some matching Tartan pants from Japan, and he topped the outfit off with a pair of ​​Nike Air Max Plus in a Tartan pattern.

Elsewhere in the interview, Jazzy asked Nardwuar around the 10:45 minute mark about his health concerns. “I am very proud of you and you are an inspiration and you are extremely resilient.” She then asked him what advice he could offer to others who are chasing their dreams while overcoming obstacles.

“I would say if I can do it, anybody can do it,” he said. “Have some patience … in the end, everything will work out. Look at you, Jazzy. This inspires me and your kind words inspire me to keep going and to do more interviews. … Also, these sort of setbacks I have had have inspired me to be fearless and get out there and do something."
