Even though Kodak Black is currently in jail, he’s still in the holiday spirit.
On Tuesday, the rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, took to Instagram to post an image of a stack of gift cards for Publix grocery store. In the caption, Cohen shared that Kodak is giving thousands of dollars in gift cards to needy families in Florida’s Broward and Dade counties for the holiday season.
“@kodakblack as usual with every Thanksgiving and Christmas starts gifting early and this year,” Cohen wrote. “He cont. even from jail the determination trying to give back everyday.”
Kodak also shared Cohen’s photo and caption.
Earlier this month, the rapper was sentenced to 46 months in prison for lying on applications in order to purchase guns in Florida. He was also later slapped with additional weapons charges of two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. With each count, he faces up to 30 years in prison as a “habitual violent offender,” per Miami Herald. He is now trying to appeal the 46-month sentence.
